Speech to Text in Q-Scribe with New iPad
I created a quick demo to illustrate the functionality of speech to text on the new iPad. I used the S2T to create a new Activity Update within Q-Scribe but the S2T functionality can be used anywhere you input text. S2T does server side transcription so you have to be connected to the internet for this feature to work. I have used this in the field and it works pretty well, even with typical construction background noise. Of course the ability of S2T to be accurately is direction proportional to how well you speak clearly and enunciate but it seems to do pretty well, even with my southern accent and occasional slang.
